Counselling support and advice when you need it the most Subfertility treatment can be challenging emotionally, and sometimes places strains on our relationships. At Thamarai, our fertility counsellor will work with you to support you throughout your journey. Talking with a counsellor doesn’t mean you aren’t coping – it’s an important part of your treatment. It’s helpful to have someone really listen to you without giving ‘advice’ and be able to talk to someone you can be completely honest with.
You may have just one session or ongoing sessions with or without your partner.

Ms. Sivarekha G is our Fertility Counsellor and has been practising pregnancy care and early childhood care for more than a decade. As a psychologist, She has worked with college students, young couples and individuals in providing good mental health. She had addressed college students and the general public through ladies clubs, magazines, television shows and social media on a regular basis. Mrs.Sivarekha is a certified counsellor, coach and mentor. Her own battling with infertility for more than a decade has given her the insight into what a subfertility couple will go through. She underwent infertility treatment for 11 years after which she was blessed with a pair of healthy twins. Holding her baby boy and baby girl way back on the 3rd of July, 2006, she made a promise that she had to help women like her going through the same emotional, physical and social stress. She clearly understood that any treatment can and will work only when your mind and body work in harmony. Thus was born the Thamarai counselling center which truly cares for each and every couple wishing to have a baby. Mrs.Sivarekha is particularly caring to understand your needs and counsels you mostly to lead you towards success. She also has extensive expertise in working with families with issues around relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression. She is committed to helping you feel that you are doing the best you can in a difficult and unexpected situation and understand that you need support to stay positive and maintain your relationships.
