GENETIC CLINIC
The Clinic offers a comprehensive approach with genetic counseling and genetic lab under one roof with experts in the field. The patients who need care in such a clinic will be males with severe sperm defects, females with primary ovarian failure, patients with recurrent pregnancy loss or an abnormal child. Equipped with the facilities for FISH microscopy and PCR analysis, the center has done pioneering work in male infertility and has presented its research on the Y chromosome and it’s a relationship to male infertility at the Aspire congress at Singapore. The genetic clinic is the first and only comprehensive clinic and lab in the state in the state offering an analysis of Y chromosome for male infertility. The clinic has done a collaborative study on FSH receptor polymorphism in collaboration with the counterpart in the USA
